Marketplace Safety

Prohibited & Restricted Items

Solrii is built for legitimate marketplace commerce. To protect buyers, sellers, the platform, and our payment partners, certain products and services may not be listed or sold on Solrii.

Effective date: September 19, 2026

Seller responsibility: You are responsible for making sure every item you list is lawful, authentic, safe, accurately described, permitted by Solrii, and allowed by any payment provider used for the sale. If you are unsure whether an item is allowed, contact Solrii before listing it.

1. Illegal, stolen, or unlawfully obtained items

The following are prohibited:

  • Any product or service that is illegal to buy, sell, possess, ship, import, export, or advertise.
  • Stolen goods, property obtained through fraud, or items with removed or altered identifying information.
  • Items intended to evade law enforcement, customs, sanctions, licensing requirements, or other legal controls.
  • Fake government documents, counterfeit identification, forged records, or document-falsification services.

2. Counterfeit goods and intellectual-property violations

Solrii does not permit counterfeit merchandise or unauthorized products that infringe another person's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, publicity right, or other intellectual-property right.

  • Fake or replica designer goods presented as authentic.
  • Bootleg movies, music, software, games, books, artwork, or other copyrighted material.
  • Unauthorized reproductions, copied merchandise, or unlicensed branded products.
  • Products using another company's logos, characters, artwork, photographs, or trademarks without permission.

Collectibles and pre-owned branded products may be listed when they are genuine and the seller has the legal right to resell them.

3. Weapons, explosives, and dangerous items

To keep Solrii simple and safe, the following may not be listed, even where possession may be lawful:

  • Firearms, ammunition, firearm receivers, suppressors, or regulated firearm parts.
  • Explosives, explosive devices, fireworks, detonators, or explosive-making materials.
  • Stun guns, tasers, brass knuckles, switchblades, prohibited knives, or other regulated weapons.
  • Realistic or improperly marked replica firearms.
  • Items primarily intended to injure, incapacitate, or unlawfully threaten another person.

Ordinary toys, collectibles, props, or historical display pieces must be clearly lawful, safely described, and not readily usable as a real weapon. Solrii may remove any item that creates uncertainty or safety risk.

4. Drugs, cannabis, tobacco, nicotine, and related products

The following are prohibited:

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances.
  • Marijuana, THC products, cannabis products, and drug paraphernalia.
  • CBD products, regardless of THC level, unless Solrii expressly approves a future supported program.
  • Tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, nicotine products, e-cigarettes, vapes, e-liquid, and related products.
  • Equipment marketed primarily for producing, cultivating, consuming, or concealing illegal drugs.

5. Alcohol and intoxicating products

Alcoholic beverages and other age-restricted intoxicating products may not be sold through Solrii unless Solrii establishes a specific approved program for that category in the future.

6. Prescription drugs, unsafe supplements, and regulated medical products

The following are prohibited unless Solrii has expressly approved the category in writing:

  • Prescription drugs, controlled medications, and prescription-only pharmaceuticals.
  • Prescription-only or regulated medical devices.
  • Products making unauthorized disease-treatment, cure, weight-loss, or other medical claims.
  • Unsafe, adulterated, mislabeled, recalled, or unapproved supplements and pseudo-pharmaceutical products.

Ordinary non-prescription consumer health products may still be removed if their sale requires licensing, special handling, age verification, or regulatory approval that Solrii does not support.

7. Hazardous materials and unsafe products

Do not list:

  • Toxic, radioactive, highly flammable, combustible, corrosive, infectious, or otherwise dangerous materials.
  • Hazardous chemicals, professional-use pesticides, or improperly labeled research chemicals.
  • Products prohibited or restricted from ordinary shipment by the applicable carrier or postal service.
  • Recalled products, products subject to mandatory safety notices, or products known to be unsafe.
  • Items whose condition creates a serious health, fire, electrical, choking, contamination, or other safety hazard.

8. Adult sexual content and services

The following are prohibited:

  • Pornography or sexually explicit media designed primarily for sexual gratification.
  • Adult services, escort services, sexual services, fetish services, or adult live-chat services.
  • Sexually explicit AI-generated content.
  • Sex toys or other adult sexual-stimulation products unless Solrii expressly creates an approved category in the future.

9. Gambling, sweepstakes, and pay-to-win schemes

Solrii may not be used for:

  • Gambling, casino games, lotteries, betting, sports wagering, or games of chance for money or prizes.
  • Paid-entry contests, tournaments, fantasy competitions, or games that award money or material prizes.
  • Bidding-fee auctions or similar pay-to-bid systems.
  • Mystery-box, raffle, or chance-based sales where the buyer is primarily paying for an uncertain prize.

10. Financial products, stored value, and virtual assets

The following are prohibited unless Solrii specifically approves and supports them:

  • Cryptocurrency, crypto mining or staking services, and secondary-market NFTs.
  • Investment products, securities, loans, lending, money transmission, currency exchange, or escrow services.
  • Gift cards, prepaid cards, stored-value products, virtual credits, or in-game currency sold as financial value.
  • Credit repair, debt settlement, debt collection, or similar financial services.

11. Personal information, accounts, credentials, and access

Do not list or sell:

  • Personal data, private records, mailing lists, account credentials, passwords, or authentication information.
  • Stolen, compromised, hacked, shared, or transferred online accounts where transfer is unauthorized.
  • Software, devices, or services primarily intended for unauthorized surveillance, credential theft, hacking, malware, or system intrusion.
  • Government IDs, passports, driver's licenses, Social Security numbers, or similar identity documents.

12. Animals, wildlife, and protected materials

Live animals may not be sold through Solrii. Products made from endangered, threatened, protected, or illegally obtained wildlife are prohibited, including ivory and other materials whose trade is banned or restricted.

13. Hate, unlawful violence, and harmful activity

Solrii does not permit products or services that promote, encourage, celebrate, or materially support unlawful violence, terrorism, or physical harm. Items whose primary purpose is intimidation, harassment, or unlawful targeting of people or protected groups may be removed.

14. Deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive products and schemes

Solrii prohibits:

  • Pyramid schemes, recruitment-driven money schemes, or deceptive multi-level marketing programs.
  • “Get rich quick” products or schemes built around misleading earnings claims.
  • Fake reviews, fake engagement, fraudulent traffic, or manipulation services.
  • Products or services using hidden pricing, deceptive billing, fake scarcity, or materially misleading claims.
  • Listings whose primary purpose is to move money without a bona fide product or service.

15. High-value and unusually risky items

Solrii's current marketplace is intended for ordinary retail and resale products. A single product priced above $10,000 USD may not be listed without prior written approval from Solrii.

Solrii may also require review or decline listings involving precious metals, precious stones, exceptionally high-value collectibles, high-risk luxury goods, or other products that create unusual fraud, shipping, authentication, insurance, or payment risk.

16. Items requiring special licenses, age checks, or regulatory approval

If a product normally requires a professional license, government permit, specialized age-verification program, controlled shipping process, or regulatory approval that Solrii does not currently support, the item may not be listed even if it is otherwise lawful.

Sellers may not use another listing category or misleading description to avoid these requirements.

17. Payment-provider restrictions

Sellers using card payments must also comply with the rules of Stripe, card networks, banks, and other applicable payment providers. Some businesses and products that are legal may still be prohibited or require additional review by a payment provider.

Solrii may remove or restrict a listing, store, category, or payment method when required by Stripe or another payment partner, even if the item is not specifically named on this page.

Sellers should review Stripe's current Prohibited and Restricted Businesses requirements when using Stripe payments.

18. Enforcement

Solrii may review listings before or after publication and may remove, hide, suspend, or restrict any listing, product, store, account, payment method, or transaction that violates this policy or creates legal, payment, safety, fraud, reputational, or marketplace risk.

Depending on the circumstances, Solrii may:

  • Ask the seller for additional information, photographs, proof of authenticity, licenses, or documentation.
  • Remove or disable a listing.
  • Pause checkout or selling privileges.
  • Restrict or suspend a store or account.
  • Refer suspected illegal activity to payment providers, carriers, rights holders, or appropriate authorities.

19. This list is not exhaustive

Solrii may prohibit or restrict an item that is not specifically listed here when the item creates legal, regulatory, payment, safety, fraud, intellectual-property, shipping, or marketplace risk. The fact that a category appears elsewhere on Solrii does not guarantee that every product within that category is permitted.

20. Questions before listing

If you are uncertain whether a product is permitted, contact Solrii before publishing the listing. It is much easier to review an item before a sale than to resolve a prohibited transaction afterward.
